Salary Hike Calculator
Calculate your new salary after a percentage hike.
How the calculation works
Enter your current salary and expected hike percentage. The calculator applies the hike percentage to your current salary and shows your estimated revised salary and increase.
Salary Hike Formula
The basic salary hike calculation is:
Salary Increase = Current Salary × Hike Percentage ÷ 100
New Salary = Current Salary + Salary Increase
For example:
Current salary = ₹50,000
Hike = 20%
Salary increase:
₹50,000 × 20 ÷ 100 = ₹10,000
New salary:
₹50,000 + ₹10,000 = ₹60,000
Important notes
- This calculator provides an estimate based on the salary and hike percentage entered.
- Your actual revised salary may differ depending on your employer’s salary structure.
- A percentage hike in CTC does not necessarily mean the same percentage increase in monthly take-home salary.
- Changes in EPF, income tax and other salary components can affect your actual in-hand salary.
- The calculator does not account for every possible component of an individual employer’s compensation structure.
